Audiobook Chapter Splitter

ACX wants one file per chapter, each under 120 minutes. Drop your full recording and split it automatically at the silence gaps between chapters — or every N minutes — straight to ACX-ready 192 kbps MP3s.

100% private: splitting happens in your browser. Your audio never leaves your device.

How it works

ACX and most audiobook platforms require one file per chapter, with each file under 120 minutes. If you recorded your book in one long session, this tool finds the long pauses between chapters and cuts there — the midpoint of each silence, so no words are clipped. Every chapter is encoded as a 192 kbps constant-bitrate MP3 at 44.1 kHz, which is exactly what ACX requires for delivery.

Nothing is uploaded: the audio engine runs inside your browser, so an 8-hour recording stays on your machine. For level requirements (RMS, peaks, noise floor) see the complete ACX requirements guide.
